Structure of the Day
This Haridwar CBSE Affiliated school gives students a very special experience. The daily routine and the communal living they experience at an early age help them learn self-discipline, respect for their peers and self-reliance, so essential in today’s world.
A typical day of a student at DCA is as follows:
Assembly bell at 8:00 am is followed by P.T. & Assembly for 30 minutes. The children then get ready for school assembly, organized by a different group of children each day.
Post assembly, students lunch break up for their classes until 11:15pm. After relaxing for a while after school full breakup at 1:30, students have their MOD/remedial classes where they get extra coaching in subjects they feel they are weak in. After this they take part in extra-curricular activities like sports, debating, etc. from 4pm-6:00 pm.
The daily schedule keeps on changing as per the suitability for the students and due to climate changes also.
